Our Purpose

Scholarships

Coeurs d’Acadian aims to provide educational opportunities to foster careers in the EMS industry. The national EMS industry has battled staffing shortages for years, and we believe in making an impact to ensure that EMS providers are able to fill vital roles.

Coeurs d’Acadian will provide scholarships to individuals for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training and Paramedic training through qualified programs in Lafayette, Louisiana (initially including, but not limited to, South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette, Louisiana).

Community Support

Community outreach and education is a core mission of Coeurs d’Acadian and Acadian Ambulance Service. Donations to our fund will assist in providing CPR training in various communities and areas in which Acadian Ambulance (or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates) operates.

Acadian Employee Support

Headquartered in Louisiana, Acadian Ambulance is no stranger to the impacts of natural disasters. For many years, Acadian has offered disaster assistance and relief to employees impacted by hurricanes or floods.

Coeurs d’Acadian works to continue this effort, and provides disaster relief to individuals and families in need of medical care, clothing, food, housing or other assistance in areas suffering from the effects of storm or other catastrophe declared to be an Emergency or a Major Disaster, as those terms are defined in the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, 42. U.S.C. Section 5122, et seq., as amended, which occurs in a community or other area in which Acadian Ambulance (or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates) operates.
