Acadian Ambulance’s Central Louisiana team hosted a Heroes Everyday community health event on July 14 in Hessmer, LA! “We had a great turnout and provided lots of valuable information, including Hands-Only CPR training, stop-the-bleed techniques, firearm safety, and much more,” said Central Louisiana Operations Coordinator Amy Guidry.
The event had participants from Avoyelles High School, Avoyelles Hospital, Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Bunkie Fire Department, Bunkie General Hospital, Bunkie High School, Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, DARE, Hessmer Fire Department, Lagniappe Homecare, LifeShare Blood Center, Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Louisiana Eye & Laser Center, Marksville High School, Rapides Regional Medical Center, and Save CENLA.
